New Car!

Carlos FINALLY got a brand new car! It was pretty much a HUGE moment...he has never really owned as nice of a car as this and it was adorable seeing him get so excited. As a matter of fact, he is outside figuring out all the settings of his wireless bluetooth and touch activated GPS system :) I am really excited for him and I really feel like he deserves this blessing! It is a manual and because I pay for it too :) I have to learn how to drive a stick....I knew one day it would come and here it is. Now we each have Hondas....yes we are Honda people now....and we love them! I do have to admit Carlos' has way cooler features than mine but we negotiated the terms of a GPS system for myself :) Actually I am the one who really needs it...it's pretty sad that I don't know my way around downtown/south Austin yet :( But I am getting alot more comfortable with North/East Austin :) Anyways, we are very excited about Carlos' new, beautiful CIVIC Si!!!

Introducing...

So we are new to the whole blogging thing but we decided this would be a great time to start one. We are leaving for South America in 6 days and it is a great way for family and friends to see our adventures and pictures along the way! We will try to post as often as possible (hopefully everyday) and hope that it is enjoyed by all :)

As for right now the only things new are that I (Jess) got my cast off from my cyst surgery and now I am trying to get my wrist to function again. I won't lie, it is painful but it is necessary. The scar is the biggest one I have ever had...an inch long! Carlos thinks that is hilarious...

Still trying to sell the house...in this market it is just a waiting game I guess. Just keep praying for us and hope that it sells soon and for a reasonable price. :)
